Postcard of 12th-century mosaics on the mausoleum of the Mamluk Sultan al-Zahir Baybars (1223/1228 – 1 July 1277). The mausoleum is located in the Zahiriyya Library, or Madrasa al-Zahiriyya, an Islamic library in Damascus. The mosaic depicts a building supported by columns and trees at the sides. Mounted on card with handwriting in ink on the front and pen drawings on the back.
