Statement by PUK on the martyrdom of Shaswar Jalal (1947-78), a journalist, prominent member of the PUK as well as founder and Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Toilers Association, who was killed by Iraqi forces in the Tangisar village of the Qaradagh region of Kurdistan, on 31 January 1978.

Statement from Sheikh Ezaddin Hosseini to individuals and parties Abroad
In this letter, Sheikh Hosseini describes his trip to Europe and meeting with different opposition groups and organisations of the Islamic regime in Iran. He identified Kurdistan as a stronghold of Iranian democracy and asked various parties to be united against Khomeini's regime to establish a democratic Iran for everyone.

Quoted from SAVAK's book (1978): SAVAK was looking for new servants among Iraqi Kurds who had left the country and fled to central Europe to use them to convince Kurds to return to Iraq and starting guerrilla warfare against the Baathist government of Iraq. This piece is about Mohamed Mahmoud Abdel-Rahman, also known as Sami Rahmani, a member of the Democratic party of Iraqi Kurdistan.

The eighth issue of "Khabarʹnāmah-ʼi Kurdistān" (Kurdistan newsletter)
The eighth issue of Khabarʹnāmah-ʼi Kurdistān (Kurdistan newsletter) includes a field report on the situation in Mahabad during August 1979. The reporter had several meetings with some of the Kurdish leaders, including Sheikh Husseini and also visited Komala and KDPI camps in the region. Moreover, there are short reports on the situation of different cities (mainly Kurdish towns), including, Mahabad, Sanandaj, Saqez, Kirmasan, Rasht, Marivan, Serpêllî Zehaw, Qasr-e Shirin, Kerend, Bukan, Sardasht, Bana, Paveh, Oshnavieh and Baluchistan.

The ninth issue of Khabarʹnāmah-ʼi Kurdistān (Kurdistan newsletter) includes the second part of "a report from the battlefront of Kurdistan" (the first part in No.8), short reports on the situation of different cities, including, Kāmyārān, Paveh, Bana, Bukan, Sardasht, Oshnavieh, Saqez, Sanandaj, Mahabad, Orumiyeh, and Tehran.

The sixth issue of the "Hiva" newspaper includes several pieces of news about Iranian Kurdistan and its challenges with the central government in Tehran.
It contained pieces on the Sanandaj conference, autonomy for Kurdistan within Iran, Iraq's air invasion of Iran, and censorship of Kurdish programs on television and radio broadcasting.

The twentieth issue of 'Mardum' (the official journal of the Tudeh Party of Iran)
Six pages of domestic and international news make up the 20th issue of "Mardum," which the Tudeh Party of Iran published on May 30, 1979 (page five is missing).
"The Threat of Rioters in Kurdistan" is the title of a brief article on page two about the situation in Kurdistan. The author requests that the government suppress those who were involved in the previous regime and Barzani's family, who seized Marivan, Hawraman/Uramanat, and Dvndarreh, among other Kurdish regions. For their own benefit, these groups robbed individuals, threatened teachers, and confiscated the firearms of others.

The viewpoint of Sheikh Ezaddin Husseini on the interaction between Islam and Kurds
Sheikh Husseini elaborates on the relationship between Islam and Kurds throughout history. How they, in the beginning, resisted but then became the true inheritors of Islam compared to other nations. Husseini also referred to several Kurdish historical figures who served Islam in various ways—in the end, asking why Kurds do not have their own country.

Four-page typescript given to Omar Sheikhmous by Tawfiq Wahby in 1964, although the authorship is unclear. It provides a detailed account of events in Kurdistan between 1920 and 1922, focussing on the rival plans proposed for placing either Hamdi Beg of Baban or Shaikh Mahmoud in a ruling position.
