The eighth issue of "Khabarʹnāmah-ʼi Kurdistān" (Kurdistan newsletter) The eighth issue of Khabarʹnāmah-ʼi Kurdistān (Kurdistan newsletter) includes a field report on the situation in Mahabad during August 1979. The reporter had several meetings with some of the Kurdish leaders, including Sheikh Husseini and also visited Komala and KDPI camps in the region. Moreover, there are short reports on the situation of different cities (mainly Kurdish towns), including, Mahabad, Sanandaj, Saqez, Kirmasan, Rasht, Marivan, Serpêllî Zehaw, Qasr-e Shirin, Kerend, Bukan, Sardasht, Bana, Paveh, Oshnavieh and Baluchistan.
