  The eighth issue of Khabarʹnāmah-ʼi Kurdistān (Kurdistan newsletter) includes a field report on the situation in Mahabad during August 1979. The reporter had several meetings with some of the Kurdish leaders, including Sheikh Husseini and also visited Komala and KDPI camps in the region. Moreover, there are short reports on the situation of different cities (mainly Kurdish towns), including, Mahabad, Sanandaj, Saqez, Kirmasan, Rasht, Marivan, Serpêllî Zehaw, Qasr-e Shirin, Kerend, Bukan, Sardasht, Bana, Paveh, Oshnavieh and Balochistan.

  The fifth issue of Khabarʹnāmah-ʼi Kurdistān (Kurdistan newsletter) includes an article about Mostafa Chamran Save'ei and elaborates on his role in suppression operation in Kurdistan. (Page three is missing ) Also, there is a report on the Iranian army attack on Mahabad on 11th September 1979 which resulted in the Iranian forces' retaking control of the city. The last four pages are about the situation of different Kurdish towns and their clashes with the Islamic Republic forces.
