• Kurdish Digital Archive
  The Kurdish Digital Archive is part of the DAME (Digital Archive of the Middle East) project, hosted at the University of Exeter.​ Its aim is not only to digitize and make accessible key Kurdish materials from the University’s own archival collections, but also to collaborate with other Kurdish archives and institutions in fostering joint research, the sharing of archival resources and the preservation and dissemination of Kurdish cultural heritage.

• Frank Dean collection of late 19th/early 20th century photographs of Egypt
  The collection comprises about 50 photographic prints of Egyptian scenes in and around Cairo and Giza, acquired by British military engineer Frank Dean while in Egypt in 1913. Most of the prints include some handwritten commentary and observations by Frank Dean on the back, dated '1913' or 'May 1913'. The prints appear to have been produced commercially, and are stamped with the names of photographers including Jean Pascal Sébah (1872-1947), Paul Dittrich (1868-1939) and the Zangaki brothers (fl.1860-90). Some of the prints are numbered by Dean on the back, suggesting that they were arranged (or sent home) in sequence.

• Papers of Nabih and Adil Al-Azmah
  Photocopied papers of the brothers Nabih (1886-1972) and Adil (1888-1952) Al-Azmah, significant figures in Arab nationalist movements during the early 20th century. They were active in Palestine, Transjordan, Syria and Lebanon.
• PFLOAG publications, documents and photographs
  Documents, publications (including 'Sawt al-Thawra' and '9 June') and photographs relating to the activities of The Popular Front for the Liberation of the Occupied Arabian Gulf (1968-70), known as the Popular Front for the Liberation of Oman and the Arabian Gulf (1971-77) after its merge with the National Democratic Front for the Liberation of Oman and the Arabian Gulf in June 1970.

• Omar Sheikhmous archive
  Omar Ali Sheikhmous (1942-) was born Syrian (Kurdish) and became a citizen of Sweden in 1974. Educated in Syria until 1961, he studied International Affairs at the University of London (1964-1967). He continued his studies at the University of Stockholm with an MA in International Relations and Ph. D studies in Political Science (1972-1978). In 1978 he stopped his PhD work for political reasons, joining the leadership of the resistance movement of the 'Patriotic Union of Kurdistan - PUK' in Iraqi Kurdistan against the regime of Saddam Hussein. He was a founding member of its leadership and in charge of its 'Foreign Relations' Committee 1975-1986. He was later advisor to the President of Iraq from 2005 to 2014, Jalal Talabani, and since retiring from politics has continued to play an active role in the field of Kurdish studies. His archive at the University of Exeter contains over 10,000 documents covering Kurdish history, politics and culture.

  Series of black and white photographs taken by anthropologist Ya-akov (Hardwin) Firestone in and around the village of Arrabeh, near Jenin, during the period between 1969 and 1972 when he was living there researching Palestinian rural life.

  A collection of over eighty diverse contributions on MENA politics and history during the 20th century, featuring one or more documentary sources with accompanying text by a range of contributors that contextualizes the source(s) and provide select bibliographical references. • Hassan Arab Iranian Archive
  Material from the archive of Hassan Arab (1922-2004), an Iranian political campaigner, journalist, newspaper editor and businessman, documenting his activities in opposition to Nazism during World War Two, post-war Iranian Communism, and - after 1979 - the Islamic Republic of Iran. The collection includes issues of his newspaper 'Parchame Khavarmianeh', political and media correspondence, files of documents on Iranian political, religious and cultural topics, photographs - including several taken during his work with the British at Victory House in Tehran during the 1940s - family notes and biographical details, postage stamps, pamphlets, artwork, photo-montage cartoons and other ephemera, in addition to various periodicals and newspapers.
• Ismail Khayat Collection
  The first time I saw Ismail Khayat’s work, it felt like a dream made from the soil, sky, and the sorrows of Kurdistan. Faces emerged from cracked earth; birds hovered between flight and capture; colors bled into one another like memories too urgent to fade. Born in 1944 in the border town of Xaneqîn, Khayat carried the mountains and rivers of his homeland into his canvases; he also carried its wounds. Working over fifty years, we saw him rise with the modern Kurdish art, and spoke of himself as only a witness. • Uri Davis Poster Collection
  Collection of posters about Palestine and Israel, compiled by Uri Davis, who describes himself as "a Palestinian Hebrew national of Jewish origin, anti-Zionist, registered as Muslim and a citizen of an apartheid state – the State of Israel." These include political posters with photographs and artwork, as well as campaign posters and notices used for demonstrations and meetings.
